American Institute Health Care Professionals‘s insight:

Effective Ways to Deal with Stress in the Workplace.

Wondering ” Can stress kill you?” Author and stress management specialist David Posen seems to think so.   In his new book “Is Work Killing You? A Doctor’s Prescription for Treating Workplace Stress” he details how job stress can be causing you unneeded stress and how to resolve it.

The physical effects of stress because of your stress in the workplace can cause several serious physical aliments.   From high blood pressure to depression can all be directly related to too much stress.   Learning to deal with stress effectively could drastically improve your health and well being.

The author later states what he feels are the biggest factors of work stress. He feels that the volume of the workload, the faster pace of the job and sometimes abuse can all lead to large increases in stress.   Added to the fact that, as a workforce, we are taking less and less time to relax, it is no wonder job related stress is killing us.
