American Institute Health Care Professionals‘s insight:

Is the church apostolic, and when I speak of the term church today, I am not asserting any particular denomination but the idea of church as all of us as part of the Mystical Body of Christ.  The Pope asks many questions that go beyond merely Catholic Christians but to all Christians.  Are we behaving and teaching according to Scripture and the doctrines of the apostles?  Are we in that way apostolic or have we altered teaching to fit our own needs?

If we focus on scripture and the teachings of the early church, we will see a replica of that apostolic origin in our own expression of the true faith.  We will be identical witnesses as the apostles.

Christian Counselors especially must remain true to the apostolic nature and teachings of the church.  As instructors of the faith they have a strong responsibility to ensure the authenticity of the message to their spiritual children.  They also have a grave responsiblity to ensure that apostolic values are in place when dealing with moral problems of today.
