Daily meditating is just as important as exercise!

Meditating daily can be just as good for your body as exercise.   During our meditations we learn to relax our mind and let go of stress.    Since stress can affect us mental and physically you can see why when we meditate it can be good for our bodies.   An article by Natural News via The International Business Times goes further into the subject.

Why Meditating is good for the body and the soul

Everyone knows stress is not good for you. Prolonged exposure to increased levels of cortisol and adrenaline is harmful to your organs. This condition is usually exacerbated by tense, tight muscles (causing pain), shallow breathing, and digestive problems. With just five minutes a few times a day, you can improve your health and cut stress. Best of all, it costs nothing and requires no equipment.
