Are you really sad but trying to hide and avoid the grief? Certified grief and bereavement counselors can help

‘Grief is normal, natural and necessary’

American Institute Health Care Professionals‘s insight:

Grief in reality is normal but so many people try to escape it.  Grief counseling attempts to teach us that grief is something we learn to live with–not escape.  Grief counseling helps us reach a better understanding of grief and the loss.

Those who try to avoid grief or mask it will face future grief regarding the unresolved issues.  Silent treatment and avoidance are all ways people try to escape grief.  Some turn to drugs and alcohol to cope with the grief.  Until one does their grief work, they will not learn to adapt and live a healthy life.   Many times they will put a fake face of being happy. Certified grief and bereavement counselors must push their clients to face this.

The grieving need guidance, especially if they are doing dangerous emotional things that can prolong the grief or potentially turn it into complicated grief.  Certified grief and bereavement counselors can help clients face their grief and accomplish their grief work.

If you would like to become a certified grief and bereavement counselors then please review the program.
