Interesting Health Coaching Exercise: Zombie Survival.

Health coaching is all about getting people to eat healthier and exercise more.   It is no surprise that someone came up with the latest craze: “Zombie RUN! “.    In this exercise routine you are in the middle of a zombie apocalypse trying to survive.    What this has to do with health care coaching you might ask?  Everything!    Obviously in order to survive a zombie attack you have to be in excellent physical shape.   From light jogging to full sprints, you will be required to run or else.   This exercise game involves different scenarios where it is your job to run a certain distance away from the zombies.   For more on this interesting way to work out please read below:

Run for Your Lives in this Health Coaching Zombie Exercise Routine!

Need more motivation to go running? How about being chased by a horde of brain-hungry zombies? Wouldn’t your legs move a lot faster if you heard bloodcurdling growls as ravenous ghouls gained on you?

Zombies Run! is a new fitness adventure app with a thrilling undead twist: the only way to win the race for survival is to run for real. So far, players have logged more than 500,000 miles of real-world exercise, with users posting such comments as, “Evaded all zombie mobs 🙂 One of my best sprints ever!” and “For the first time in my life, I feel truly alive.”

This seems to be a rather inventive way to include health coaching exercises into your daily workouts.   Just make sure to left your baseball bat and 12 gauge at home.   Now start running from those zombies!
