Investing in Health Care IT is Critical!

With the technological advances happening today, staying up to date with your Health Care IT is becoming critical to any healthcare information technology business.  Many hospitals are trying to update their systems to meet with electronic health records (EHRs) requirements.  In 2015 if hospitals have not met these healthcare IT EHR requirements, they will be charged with financial penalties.   This is why keeping your health care information systems as current as possible is quickly becoming a booming field.   For more on this subject:

Investing in Health Care IT is Critical!

As Congress struggles with finding ways to reduce U.S. national debt levels that are reaching crisis proportions, it should not lose sight of the long-term implications of budget cuts—particularly in the area of health care IT.

The government has appropriated $36 billion in incentives for providers that demonstrate meaningful use of electronic health records (EHRs). These funds were allocated to advance the adoption of EHRs, health information exchanges (HIEs), and integrated healthcare IT systems.
