It’s something every one of us has to deal with, every day of our lives. It’s all around us, from job pressures to family situations. From road rage to the evening news — we simply can’t escape stress. Modern life is so full of hassles, deadlines, bills, and demands that for many people, stress has become a way of life. Of course, stress in small doses isn’t always a bad thing. But, if you’re constantly running on adrenaline, your mind and body will eventually pay the price. In fact, the World Health Organisation believes that stress will be the biggest killer of the 21st century.

The most dangerous thing about stress is how easily it can creep up on you. You get used to it. It starts to feel familiar, even normal and eventually becomes part of you.
