Grief after suicide can be a horrible thing for a family.  The article below lists many of the things that one will go through.

The Buddha Dharma Education Association listed an interested article on their site regarding “Grief After Suicide”  Below is a segment of the article.

Someone close to you has died. Your grief is intensified because the death was a suicide. The healing process will be painful and often seem unnaturally slow. Understanding your emotions, as well as learning something about suicide in general, may ease your grief.
